Profile Information

Dr John Kpikpi, Chairman of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Ghana First Coalition (GFC) and a member of the GFC Board.

A short summary
I am a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. With His help, I have over the last three decades formed many church communities which are characterized by integrity, happiness andprosperity. Completely persuaded that God’s work in the churches is only the starting
point of His activity in the earth, we have gone on to create and develop educational, social and financial institutions which are providing valuable services for thousands inour nation. I employ both print (magazines, manuals, books) and electronic media
(radio, television and the internet) to multiply God’s truth in the nations and reach as many people as possible with His word. In the last two years, our work took a major step into the political space. I am convinced
that God wishes His sons and daughters to bring all the good things He has taught and trained them in, within their churches, to influence national leadership by their active
involvement in politics. I am been happily married to Alexandra since 1990, and we have been blessed with five grown up children.

Work Experience
Director: Rebuilding the Nations Foundation (2017 – Present)
The Rebuilding the Nations Foundation is the name given to all the ministries that I oversee. Each of the ministries is concerned with helping people, families and nations to build lives of integrity, happiness and prosperity on the firm foundation of God’s word.
The RTN Foundation is comprised of seven ministries. These are:
The City Churches
New Nation School
The Citti Credit Union
Hill City Publishing
The Marriage House Movement
RTN Broadcasting
The RTN Political Forum

Apostle, Senior Pastor (1992 - Present)
City of God Church, P.O. Box LG 732, Legon, Accra, Ghana
In 1992 I founded City of God Church and subsequently planted several churches, a
ministry which at its peak formed 34 churches in seven West African nations.

Director, New Nation School (September 2004 - Present)
New Nation School, P.O. Box LG 732, Legon, Accra, Ghana
In 2004 I co-founded New Nation School with my wife, Mrs. Alexandra Kpikpi. New Nation School is committed to providing good quality education, for children from every tribe and nation, in an environment of faith, hope and love.
The school currently has over 1,200 students and comprises Nursery, Primary, Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary Departments.
Our school has won many national awards, including the Best IGCSE School in
Ghana in 2014 and 2016.

Lecturer (January 1992 – August 2001)
Department of Zoology, University of Ghana, Legon, Accra.
I taught both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in biological sciences. I conducted research into the prevention and control of schistosomiasis, locally and through international collaboration with research centers in the UK and in Denmark.
I trained and supervised postgraduate students to the M.Phil. and Doctoral degree levels. I published scientific papers in both local and international journals.

Education
Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.), Medical Biology. (April, 1986 - June, 1990)
University of Sussex, Brighton, United Kingdom.

Bachelor of Science, (Zoology with Botany). (January, 1979 - June,1981)
University of Ghana, Legon, Faculty of Science, Legon, Accra.

Community Engagements
Churches and schools connect one very closely with the community. Our churches, in bringing life and hope through the gospel to the communities we have worked in, have provided practical help to thousands of people through agricultural projects, health care projects,
educational projects and water supply projects. We have also financed and organized the construction of the roads around our Church Centre and School to make them motorable. Our Church Centre is effectively the ‘Community Centre’ for our area. The Centre has been a polling
station for several local and national elections and has also been used as a voter registration centre.

Public Image
I am well known as an academic, a church leader, a happily married family man and a public
speaker on Radio and Television, with a good online presence. I am known for my strong stance on integrity in both public and private life. I am also known, I think, as a successful
businessman.
